I know this is finished, but I think if you add even a slightly different color wash over some elements, it would improve this piece a lot more. The shading on the trees is beautiful, but I feel that it blends into the sky because they are the exact same hue.
A very easy solution you may want to try is to get more of an indigo hue, and paint over either the trees or the sky (your choice). Set the opacity to low (like 40 percent or so) and whalla- you have a whole lot more contrast and each of your elements can be appreciated separately.
Perhaps even give the pathway a different hue (the same as the sky?)
I hope you don't mind this constructive criticism. I love your artwork- and I want to make sure all the hard work you put into painting these stand out as much as they can.
is great.

Thank you for the critique though
